from infant to toddler.

We just celebrated your F I R S T birthday!

Where has time gone? I am so proud of all you have been able to accomplish within these short 12 months of your life.

Like every overly excited mom, I started planning your first birthday party months in advance.
The party needs a theme. Every good party has a theme. hmm…

My mind was consumed with thoughts about pom-poms, dessert tables, and decorations. All my nights were spent scrolling through Pinterest.
Pink and Gold Glitter. That's going to be the theme. It's perfect.

After a few trips to the local craft store, I had everything I needed to start attempting to make some DIY decorations I saw on Pinterest.

I made the cupcake toppers, the gold glitter O-N-E letters, and a O-N-E burlap banner to hang off your high chair for the cake smash.

We entrusted your Auntie Jj to create the dessert table. She surpassed our expectations. She made s'mores on a stick lightly toasted, chocolate dipped Oreo's and pretzels, strawberry frosted cupcakes, and your amazing smash cake!

Present time.

Now for the fun part, your cake smash.

It was a day we will never forget. The outpouring of love toward you was overwhelming.
